Barry M Sunset Daylight Curing Polish
RANTorRAVE
I'm going to jump right in and ruin the surprise. I LOVE THIS.
I am a qualified nail tech (although I no longer work as one), I own about one million nail varnishes and I have never been so impressed.

I decided I would give it a try, and as I wasn't expecting to be blown away I didn't do the neatest, prepped mani that I could, so for that, I apologise. I owe this polish more than that (and your eyes). It says to do two thin coats of the polish and then apply a thin coat of the top coat. It dried SUPER FAST. That was the first tick for me as I am an extremely impatient person! I chose the Nude shade 'Do it like a nude' (good name), there are 7 other shades.
The best part of this for me though is that IT DOES FEEL LIKE GEL! If you've ever had a Shellac or other type of gel mani similar to this, you'll know the feeling. This feels thick, even though I know I only put a very thin layer on of each, It feels tough, like it's not going to be chipped or weakened by lots of water (like washing up/cleaning/bathing). I have done a number of things that would usually weaken my varnish or make it look 'less fresh' and it just still looks brand new.

Below you can see the polish at 5 days, and signs of 'lifting' around the edges are starting to show. This is very similar to the way that gel starts to deteriorate as well, rather than chipping like nail varnish. I first noticed it in the shower when hairs were getting caught underneath!
Again, because I didn't prep correct, I imagine it could last a lot longer if you put more time into application than I did!
I am very pleased with it and will be purchasing the other colours this week for definite!
SO #RANTorRAVE this time is 100% RAVE - have you tried it? What did you think? I would love to hear from you so please comment down below or chat to me on Twitter @4theblonde !
