Contour - what if my nose is already narrow?

Contouring - what if my nose is already narrow?

Ever noticed how they tell you how to contour a perfectly perfect face with perfect features and perfect shape? They show you bad skin before and afters, but never 'My nose is wonky what do I do?' before and afters? We don't see 'Please help me hide my double chin'.

It's so frustrating and hard to find tips and tricks for when you don't look like Kate Moss.
I myself have a long narrow nose, so using the classic contour tips I would find online would only make matters worse!!

The simple trick is to remember is that the bronzing is the part where we can narrow, shape and 'draw' new lines. The highlighting part is for, well highlighting! But it's drawing the attention to that area because it reflects the light. So, using the basic contour guide, you need to use this knowledge to try and minimise your larger bits, or widen your smaller bits.

'Hooked, bridged or 'wonky' nose (for want of better words'  - Most people want to narrow their nose, but you may just have trouble making yours look straight, like I do. So you may 'draw' the two bronzed lines up and down either side of your nose, but the highlighted part doesn't look straight. So improvise. Make allowances for any bumps or bridges on your nose and make the lines work for your face. Highlight wear the shadows from your raised nose are being cast.

The same goes for your chin - If you have a very pointy chin, bronze the bottom in a rounded way to reduce the look of the point, and don't use too much highlighter as this will make your chin look larger.

Follow your face shape, don't try to change it, just highlight the parts you want to draw attention to and bronze the parts you want to try to reduce and conceal.
